ABOUT FCMR
Four Corners Motorcycle Rally: A Legacy of Riding and Community
Four Corners Motorcycle Rally (FCMR) is the longest-running motorcycle rally in Colorado, celebrating over three decades of riding, camaraderie, and culture. Founded by Senator Ben Nighthorse Campbell, a passionate motorcyclist and advocate for the community, FCMR was created to bring riders together while showcasing the stunning landscapes of Southwest Colorado. Since its inception, the rally has grown from a grassroots gathering to a premier destination event, attracting motorcycle enthusiasts from across the country.
A Premier Destination Event
Now entering its 32nd year, FCMR continues to evolve while staying true to its deep-rooted legacy. The rally offers world-class scenic rides, inclusive programming, and a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere. From thrilling motorcycle races and rodeo events to live music and community engagement, FCMR is a celebration of the freedom and spirit of riding.
The Four Corners Region: A Rider’s Paradise
One of the most captivating aspects of the Four Corners Motorcycle Rally is its stunning location. Nestled in Southwest Colorado, Durango offers some of the most breathtaking and exhilarating roads in the country. Riders flock to the event not only for the rally itself but for the chance to experience legendary routes like the Million Dollar Highway, a thrilling stretch of U.S. Route 550 known for its dramatic cliffs, tight switchbacks, and panoramic mountain views. This iconic ride is a bucket-list adventure for motorcyclists, offering an unforgettable journey through the towering San Juan Mountains.
Beyond the roads, Durango itself is a vibrant and welcoming town rich in history and charm. With a lively downtown filled with unique shops, historic saloons, and world-class restaurants, the town provides an incredible backdrop for the rally. Visitors can indulge in everything from gourmet dining to casual, locally-owned eateries, sampling a variety of flavors that make Durango’s culinary scene one of the best in the region.
Durango’s outdoor recreation opportunities add another layer to the rally experience. Whether it’s hiking, fishing, or exploring the historic Durango & Silverton Narrow Gauge Railroad, attendees can take advantage of the area’s natural beauty before or after the rally. The combination of thrilling rides, a welcoming town, and endless adventure makes Durango and the Four Corners region the perfect destination for motorcyclists looking to experience the best of Colorado.
Commitment to Community and Giving Back
FCMR is more than just a rally—it’s a force for good. The event is dedicated to charitable giving and community support, partnering with organizations such as Building Homes for Heroes, Native Love, the Women’s Resource Center of Durango, La Plata County Toys for Tots, Durango Big Brothers and Big Sisters, and the Southern Ute Boys and Girls Club. These partnerships allow the rally to uplift veterans, youth, families, and Indigenous communities through direct donations and fundraising efforts.
Additionally, FCMR collaborates with local businesses, nonprofits, and community organizations to enhance the event’s success while reinforcing its commitment to Durango’s economic and cultural vitality. Key partners such as Southwest Ag, Durango Protection Services, Target Rentals, and Purgatory Resort provide essential logistics and infrastructure, ensuring a seamless experience for attendees.
